Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the meeting last night and helped us grow a little bigger. I know it can get pretty boring, and food bribery doesn't always work to well haha, but thanks for at least hearing what we're all about and giving it a chance. We will definitely be having more of these from now on and hopefully it will continue to make this family grow. Hopefully we can get started sooner next time and the projector won't give us too many problems, and we'll be sure to bring plenty of deldrift. stickers in the future.

Anyway, it was really awesome to have so many new faces there and we all hope that you all will become more familiar around here. Hope to see all the newcomers on the forum, and be sure to check the local meets section often to keep yourself updated with whats going on around here. Can't wait to see everyone and more again soon! Oh, and what did everyone think of the video sneak peek? Looks like its coming along pretty well to me :D

Was pretty ridiculous.

It started off with Mikes hood flying up and busting his widshield up pretty good from lack of hood pins (sorry buddy) and then some sliding later in the night. Maybe some footage later in the week...

I was doodling a lot at work today and I ended up making a some one-offs for the heck of it. I thought the idea with using animals was pretty neat. Could make for a shirt design or maybe a sticker.. What do you guys think?

Here's the video I promised. Yes, the quality is horrible, and yes I rushed the editing hardcore, but the audio is pretty funny :D We'll have some higher quality videos in the future so don't worry.

1.24.10 Out of Memory

After watching a movie at Chads we had a long, awesome night that stretched late into the morning. I dont think it was until 3:30am that the first bits of rubber were emitted from anyones tires. The whole night from start to finish made for some really good pictures.... but at around 4am I realized I forgot to clean my flash card out before I left my house, so after it was completely full I quickly formatted the card to make room for more shots without even thinking about all the sweet pics I had taken earlier in the night. It was pretty disappointing and I was kind of mad at myself for not thinking it through a little better.... Oh well, what can you do right? So for now I will leave you with this shot that I really liked.

I chose this one because of what is actually going on in the picture. There are no cars getting crazy, no smoke pouring out of the wheel wells or anyone even sitting behind the wheel. This is about immediately after breaking your car, putting in the effort to get it back together to get a few more runs in before it's time to head back home. It kind of gives me a little inspiration actually.

So this past Sunday we had an awesome night that started out at Chads with pizza, a few movies, and some good laughs. It ended up being a pretty eventful night and I don't think anyone ended up getting home till at least 5am. Oh, and Terminator is awesome.

Some crazy nights goin on around here.

So we had our second official meeting last night and ended up having a pretty good turn out. Some people even came from out of state to make it. There was plenty of food for everyone to munch on while we talked about everything too, so thank you to those who pitched in for food and beverages. I also want to give huge thanks to everyone who showed up and gave us your input and ideas or contributed in any way, and I hope everyone will want to come back next time so we can continue to progress and make things happen.

A little overview of some things we spoke about last night included:

-Finances

-Fundraising/Merch

-Events

-Future Meets

We went pretty deep into each subject, and even though it probably got boring and drawn out at times, this stuff is important. Hopefully everyone that made it will want to come out again along with more people to help us get things going.

Again, I can't stress enough how much we appreciate everyone who made it and listened to all we had to say. Thank you.

So as you can see the site is finally up and working, hopefully it'll get us some more traffic and new members on the forum. Good shit. I don't really like the layout right now so this is probably gonna change quite a bit over the next week or two among other things, so check back often!!
